Three routes into the same classroom
Same lectures, same degree, same campus. The bill differs by a factor of ten. Which route is open to you is decided by your rank and your domicile — not by preference.
COMEDK UGET — private consortium
Open to any state, no domicile test. Merit-based on your COMEDK rank through the consortium’s own online counselling.

Roughly a quarter of seats are filled by the college directly. You still need a valid KCET, COMEDK or JEE Main rank — it just does not have to be a high one. Priced by branch demand, and CSE is the top of that market.
